This is the harsh truth. Supplements cannot compensate for a consistently poor diet.
Hair is made of protein. If your daily meals lack enough protein – dal, eggs, curd, paneer, nuts, seeds, or meat, biotin and zinc won’t magically strengthen your hair. In India, many people eat carb-heavy meals but fall short on protein without noticing.
Zinc absorption also depends on gut health. Frequent acidity, bloating, or IBS-like symptoms can reduce how well your body absorbs nutrients. Excessive tea or coffee, especially with meals, can interfere too.
Think of supplements as support, not the main act. Without proper food, hydration, and sleep, they won’t deliver visible results.
