BBCA hotel fire in Glasgow city centre is not believed to have been started deliberately, police said.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said the blaze at the Revolver Hotel, on Virginia Street, was extinguished on Sunday afternoon but a crew remained at the scene to monitor the situation.

The building, which also houses the Polo Lounge nightclub, and several neighbouring buildings were evacuated on Saturday evening as a precaution.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Revolver said the incident had been “promptly and effectively managed” by fire crews and praised staff for their “calm and exemplary handling of the situation”.
Polo Lounge said it was forced to cancel planned events on Saturday evening but did not believe the building had “sustained much damage”.
A spokesperson added it expected to be open for Hogmanay celebrations on Wednesday.
PA MediaThe House of Gods hotel, which is in the next building, said staff and guests were safe, but it did not know the extent of any damage.
Homeless Project Scotland said its soup kitchen, which is in the area, was evacuated as a precaution.
In a post on social media, it added: “Everyone is safe. Emergency services attended.
“For safety reasons, the soup kitchen is now closed until further notice while the situation is assessed.”
Police Scotland said officers were still at the scene to assist SFRS crews.
