Kerala reality show contestant and social media influencer Muhammad Diligent Blesslee arrested in digital fraud case

A special squad of the District Crime Branch on Tuesday (December 16, 2025) arrested a prominent Kerala reality show contestant and social media influencer accused of having involvement in a multi-core digital fraud linked to a fake job scheme. The suspect, Muhammad Diligent Blesslee, was nabbed from the Thiruvananthapuram international airport.

Police sources said a look-out notice was issued against the 30-year-old after his involvement in the case was found out. There were eight suspects behind the incident, in which two had already been arrested and remanded in judicial custody, they said.

In the preliminary investigation, the police found that the majority of the cheated job applicants were from Koduvally and surrounding villages in Kozhikode district. The case was registered against Mr. Blesslee in June 2025 following the complaints filed by some of victims from rural area. According to the police, the defrauded money was credited to several mule accounts for covert withdrawal.

A senior police officer associated with the investigation said some of the suspects reportedly left the country a few months ago. He also said the probe was intensified to check similar job frauds possibly operated by the gang in other parts of Kerala.
