Police file FIR against viral video of pro-Pakistan posters put up in J&K’s Doda

The Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) lodged a first information report (FIR) over a video showing posters allegedly praising Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir, which were pasted on a bridge in the Chenab Valley’s Doda district. 

An official said that FIR No. 95/2026 was registered under Section 353(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Doda police station after the video was reported.
