Bangladesh to host Pakistan for two series in March and May

Pakistan will tour Bangladesh twice in three months after the PCB scheduled the Pakistan Super League during the March-April window. Pakistan will play three ODIs against Bangladesh in March, before returning to Bangladesh for two Tests in May. This was part of the BCB’s unprecedented announcement on Friday, that included several home series scheduled for 2026.

They have declared dates of most of these series, though they didn’t name the venues. The announcement includes the ODI series against India, which was postponed last year. The six white-ball matches are scheduled for September.

Bangladesh will play three ODIs against Pakistan in March, followed by New Zealand’s six white-ball matches – three ODIs and three T20Is – in April and May. Pakistan will return for the two WTC Tests in May. Australia then play three ODIs and as many T20Is in June, which is followed by Bangladesh touring Zimbabwe for two Tests and five ODIs in July.

Bangladesh then travel to Chelmsford for three ODIs and three T20Is against Ireland, before they play two WTC Tests against Australia in August. The possible venues are Darwin and Mackay.

West Indies will visit Bangladesh for two WTC Tests in November, before Bangladesh tour South Africa for two WTC Tests and three ODIs which will serve as a preparation ahead of the ODI World Cup in the same region in 2027.
