DMDK leader L.K. Sudhish on Thursday met DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and invited him to participate in the second death anniversary observance of DMDK founder Vijayakant on December 28.
Mr. Sudhish, along with former DMDK MLA B. Parthasarathy, met Mr. Stalin at his residence and extended the invitation. Earlier, they met AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami and invited him.
Speaking to reporters after meeting Mr. Palaniswami, Mr. Sudhish said the meeting was only to invite him to the event and that no political matters were discussed. He added his party would extend invitations to all parties.
