Three persons were arrested by the Excise officials and 1.220 kgs of ganja was seized from them.

Five persons were arrested in two separate raids conducted by the State Task Force of the Telangana Prohibition and Excise Department in Hyderabad. The officials seized 2.34 kgs of ganja, 4.2 grams of hash oil, two mobile phones, and an autorickshaw used in committing the offence.
In the first operation, STF- A team, along with staff from the Dhoolpet excise station conducted a raid at a residence in Dilawar Gunj in Mangalhat area in Dhoolpet. Three persons, identified as Jaya Bai, Dilip Singh and Sunita Bai, were arrested and 1.220 kgs ganja was seized from them.
A case has been registered against Shivani Singh, Durgeshwari and two others in connection with the offence. The arrested accused and the seized contraband were handed over to the Dhoolpet excise station for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the STF- B team arrested two individuals, identified as K. Suryaprakash and K. Robert Antony Raj, during checks conducted in Madhapur. Officials seized 1.120 kgs ganja and 4.2 grams of hash oil. Two mobile phones and an auto-rickshaw used for offence were also confiscated.
The accused and the seized contraband was handed over to the Alwal excise station. Further investigation is underway in both cases.
