The Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation today announced the completion of delimitation of 300 wards. The official also announced through a notification that the details of boundary descriptions are placed on notice boards of all circle, zonal and head office buildings.
According to GO Ms No. 292 issued on December 24, 2025, the restructuring aims to address the sharp rise in administrative workload following the expansion of GHMC limits, which now encompass a population exceeding 1.34 crore. Officials said decentralisation was necessary to ensure uniform administration, improve service delivery and enhance public convenience across the expanded urban region.
