Gold price today: How much yellow metal costs in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities? Check rates for 18K, 22K and 24K gold

Gold and silver prices moved in opposite directions on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, with silver scaling fresh record highs while gold edged lower after an early uptick.Gold futures traded lower after opening on a positive note. The February delivery contract fell by Rs 359, or 0.27%, to Rs 1,34,050 per 10 grams, from the previous close of Rs 1,34,409 per 10 grams. The April 2026 contract for the yellow metal also declined by Rs 293, or 0.21%, to Rs 1,37,117 per 10 grams.In contrast, silver futures surged sharply. The March contract jumped by Rs 8,356, or 4.2%, to hit a fresh lifetime high of Rs 2,06,111 per kilogram, compared with Tuesday’s close of Rs 1,97,755 per kg.Silver prices were lifted by strong global cues, tight supply concerns and expectations of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve next year.Here’s how much gold costs across major Indian cities today:

Gold prices in Delhi

In Delhi, 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 13,466 per gram, while 22-carat gold costs Rs 12,345 per gram and 18-carat gold is selling at Rs 10,103 per gram. Compared to yesterday, prices have risen by Rs 65 for 24K gold, Rs 60 for 22K and Rs 49 for 18K.

Gold prices in Ahmedabad

In Ahmedabad, 24-carat gold is trading at Rs 13,456 per gram. The 22-carat variety stands at Rs 12,335 per gram, while 18-carat gold is priced at Rs 10,093 per gram. All three categories have seen a rise similar to Delhi, with gains of Rs 65, Rs 60 and Rs 49 respectively.

Gold prices in Hyderabad show 24-carat gold at Rs 13,451 per gram, 22-carat at Rs 12,330 per gram and 18-carat at Rs 10,088 per gram. These rates are up by Rs 65 for 24K, Rs 60 for 22K and Rs 49 for 18K gold from the previous day.

Gold prices in Bangalore

In Bangalore, gold is also priced at Rs 13,451 per gram for 24-carat purity. The 22-carat gold rate is Rs 12,330 per gram, while 18-carat gold is retailing at Rs 10,088 per gram.

Gold prices in Ayodhya

In Ayodhya, 24-carat gold is available at Rs 13,466 per gram, with 22-carat gold priced at Rs 12,345 per gram and 18-carat gold at Rs 10,103 per gram. Prices here have also increased by Rs 65 for 24K, Rs 60 for 22K and Rs 49 for 18K gold compared to yesterday.

Gold prices in Chennai are slightly higher, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs 13,528 per gram. The 22-carat rate stands at Rs 12,400 per gram, while 18-carat gold is priced at Rs 10,350 per gram.

Gold prices in Kolkata

In Kolkata, 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 13,451 per gram, 22-carat gold at Rs 12,330 per gram and 18-carat gold at Rs 10,088 per gram. These rates reflect increases of Rs 65, Rs 60 and Rs 49 respectively from the previous session.

In Mumbai, gold prices mirror those in Bangalore and Kolkata, with 24-carat gold at Rs 13,451 per gram, 22-carat gold at Rs 12,330 per gram and 18-carat gold priced at Rs 10,088 per gram.

Gold prices in Noida

In Noida, 24-carat gold is selling at Rs 13,466 per gram, while 22-carat gold costs Rs 12,345 per gram and 18-carat gold is priced at Rs 10,103 per gram, marking similar gains to those seen in Delhi and Ayodhya.
