Toss Sunrisers Hyderabad chose to bowl vs Gujarat Titans

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bowl first in Ahmedabad. SRH, who have won six of their previous seven games, made one change, bringing in fast bowler Praful Hinge, while Gujarat Titans, who have won their previous four fixtures, were unchanged.

Shubman Gill said the surface “looks like a better wicket than we have had in the past couple of matches.” Team batting first at this venue made only 155 and 163 for 9 in the previous two games. GT hold home advantage: they have won all three encounters between these two sides in Ahmedabad since 2023.

Qualification for the winning team becomes much more straightforward if they win today: after eleven games, both sides sit on 14 points. A victory will take them to the top of the table.
