Linda AI provides voice agents for dental practices.
A health-tech start-up with Irish roots has raised €2.6m in pre-seed investment to scale its agentic AI platform catering to dental practices.
Linda AI was co-founded by Irish sisters India and Portia Healy O’Connor along with Lucio Tudisco, with 6 Degrees Capital leading this round of funding.
The AI platform aims to avoid lost bookings and wastage of capacity at dental practices by providing a voice AI agent to deal with patients on the phone even when a reception desk may be busy or closed.
“A lot of missed bookings come down to capacity,” said India, who is also the company’s CEO. “Linda handles inbound calls when front desks are stretched, so clinics don’t miss opportunities while teams focus on patients in the chair.”
The company, based in Dublin and London, said its AI agents integrate with existing practice management and communication systems to complete administrative tasks like appointment scheduling and rescheduling, confirmations, and patient follow-ups, working alongside front-desk teams while automating workflows through voice, text and system integrations when capacity is constrained.
The platform is operational at more than 50 sites across Ireland and the UK. The new funding will be used to expand its engineering and sales teams while scaling deployments across additional dental practices in both countries.
Linda AI claims to have increased overall bookings for its practices while lowering missed appointment numbers and saving front-desk teams hours of administrative work per week.
The founding sisters grew up around their father’s medical practice, and at an early stage gained insights into the challenges and strains faced by healthcare clinics, the company said.
Christina Franzeskides of 6 Degrees Capital said: “We are thrilled to partner with Linda AI, and were drawn to them from our very first meeting with the founders at a female-founder dinner.”
She said that the dental sector is a prime candidate for voice AI agents “because it is operating at full demand but is constrained by front-desk capacity”.
“Linda AI addresses this bottleneck by using voice AI that integrates seamlessly into existing practice operations, rather than attempting to replace front-desk teams, delivering clear ROI for practices and enabling them to meaningfully increase revenue,” she added.
