As part of the Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 and Swachh Survekshan 2025-26, the Mysuru City Corporation organised poster-making and waste-to-artefact competitions for school and college students here on Thursday.
The competitions were held on the Town Hall premises with the objective of encouraging creativity among students and promoting public participation in cleanliness initiatives.
The MCC has been organising a series of Swachh Category competitions to promote cleanliness awareness, of which poster-making was one component, as part of Swachh Survekshan.
The participating students created posters on the theme “Public Participation in Cleanliness” on the spot, while waste-to-artefact exhibits made from discarded materials were prepared in advance and displayed at the venue. Over 300 students took part in the competitions. Winners will be get prizes.
