The Boston 25 weather team is tracking snow for both Saturday and Sunday, and the possible effects it may have on the Patriots game this weekend.
Boston 25 Chief Meteorologist Tucker Antico says Saturday’s wave of snow will fall in western and central Massachusetts, focused mainly in the Worcester hills and southern New Hampshire. Rainfall is expected on the coast.
Generally, 3-6″ in the Berkshires, 1-3″ in Worcester, and “then it really tapers off beyond the hills.”
For Sunday, the snow totals seem to slightly be growing for the Patriot’s playoff game against the Texas.
“There will be some light snow I expect falling when the game begins,” said Tucker.
“It really begins to pick up closer to 8 or 9 p.m.,” he said.
The numbers for Sunday have shifted inland, and because of that, temperatures are going to be a little warmer in southeastern Massachusetts so it’s harder to pinpoint where exactly we’ll see the most amount of snow.
It’s possible some places in Massachusetts could see 5″, with most of southern Massachusetts seeing 2-4″.
