The Telangana Fire Department has initiated the process of amending the Telangana Fire Services Act, 1999, with a focus on strengthening fire safety regulations, improving compliance mechanisms and streamlining the issuance of No Objection Certificates.
At a stakeholder meeting held on April 25 at the Fire Services headquarters, officials discussed proposed changes aimed at addressing emerging challenges in urban development and infrastructure, while enhancing overall fire and life safety standards across the State.
